3. Aminedi makes the ambush lethal Aminedi is called the Invisible One, and the name doesn't really tell you the worst part. His body can become a cutting wind. He can move unseen and strike with an edge capable of slicing through a person. That combines concealment, movement and a lethal attack in the same ability. By the time an opponent understands where he is, the injury may already have happened. Super Sabre is killed in the opening encounter. That is especially brutal because speed is supposed to be his advantage. Being fast gives him no useful protection against an attack he doesn't recognize in time. Crimson Commando is also maimed in the ambush. From there, every attempt to get him out carries another problem: how much farther can a badly wounded man make it? Freedom Force has to fight, navigate and keep somebody alive at the same time. Aminedi doesn't need pages of explanation for that threat to land. The aftermath does the explaining. The other team immediately has fewer people who can fight and one member whose survival depends on reaching help. It is a strong example of how dangerous a power becomes when somebody uses it with the intent to kill. Plenty of comic fights let a character get knocked across the room and get back up.
