Where did that link actually take you, and what did it return when you checked it? LinkWitness is my tool for recording that information, and it's now Gold. It captures HTTP(S) redirects, response metadata, and content fingerprints, with optional local snapshots you can keep for later comparison. The work in this pass tightened input checks and redirect limits, and made incomplete captures and comparisons clearer. It also keeps real network observations separate from operator-supplied test fixtures. The final patch adds stricter release-package version checks and checksums. It's useful when you want a record of what a link returned during a particular check. A capture can still be partial, and it doesn't establish that the remote content is authentic or legally admissible. The report labels incomplete results so you can tell what was actually captured. https://t.co/A2j5HaSB0r
