Comic Archive Converter has reached Gold. If you want to move a comic archive between CBZ/ZIP and CB7/7Z without re-encoding the page images, that's what this one is for.
It validates the archive, stages the members, and checks the result before publishing the converted file. The work in this batch covered full ZIP-stream checks, unsafe filenames, expansion limits, and preserving the file bytes and empty-directory structure through conversion.
The final v1.2.2 release also fixes a changelog entry that had been attributed to the wrong version. That correction doesn't change the conversion behavior.
RAR/CBR is outside this tool's scope. It also doesn't promise to carry over every timestamp, permission, or archive metadata field. The goal here is keeping the actual files intact while changing the archive format.
