Save-File Backup Recipe Generator is now Gold.
Give it a game-save folder and a destination, and it writes a PowerShell or Bash script you can read before running. You choose when to run it. The generator itself never starts a backup, schedules anything, or goes hunting for save folders.
Copy mode has an optional verification step that checks file paths, counts, and hashes before reporting success. This pass improved destination and link checks, handled awkward Bash archive names more carefully, and passed native acceptance checks on Linux and Windows.
Make sure you've found the right save folder, close the game and any syncing software, then review the recipe. A restore test is still worth doing. If your save folder includes hidden files, verified copy mode is the better fit than the convenience archive option.
