Two comic files can have different names and still contain the same pages. They can also look similar enough to deserve a closer look without actually being the same copy. Digital Comic Duplicate Detector is now Gold with v2.0.0. It separates byte-identical archives, matching page content, and optional visual comparisons so those results don't all get lumped together. You can also account for repeated pages when comparing two archives. This release brings the project to Python 3.11+ with Pillow 13 for the optional visual features, alongside the verification and reporting work from this Gold pass. Everything runs locally against CBZ/ZIP files. The tool doesn't choose which copy to keep or delete anything. Visual matches are there to help you review the collection, with page previews and coverage information, before you make that decision yourself. https://t.co/iQvlW1H9Cb
