ComicInfo Editor Lite is now Gold, for anyone who wants to clean up comic metadata without changing the actual page images.
You can preview a field change, apply a reusable template, or work through a batch of CBZ files using a JSON or CSV manifest. Changes go into separate, validated archives. The original files stay where they are.
I've tightened the XML and batch validation, added clearer handling for ambiguous fields, and improved how the tool streams its checks. It also lets you require an expected file hash or old field value before an edit goes ahead, which helps catch a patch aimed at the wrong copy.
The scope stays focused: ZIP-based CBZ files and the supported ComicInfo fields. It won't fetch metadata or guess issue numbers from filenames. You supply the changes and can inspect them before writing anything.
