All right I'm still working through Kingdom Come: Deliverance tonight and I got to a place where I'm going to have to level up my fighting a little bit more. I'm trying to go talk to the mercenary camp that Radzik sent me to. I forgot their name and I'm having issues with that battle, though I'm pretty close to beating them. I just need to level up a little bit more. I've been predominantly using swords throughout the whole game, which I think I'm going to continue doing. I haven't been using a shield. A lot of my combat involves just poking at them because I like the stabbing motion. It's a lot easier to get in a hit when you just run and stab them in the chest over and over again. I haven't been practicing as much with the sword mechanics for the overhead swing. I'm kind of working on that for slashing and learning a little bit more about the technicalities behind the combat but it's going pretty good. I'm going to spend some time leveling up. I got another quest that I'm working on where I have to get the Cumin outfits in order to be able to do the stuff with his old friends, like robbing people. I'm going through those Cumin camps right now and getting some experience wiping out squads of them. I'm at a point in the game now where I rarely run into issues when it comes to combat. For example with the fist fighting, I've done two sets of fist fighting quests in two different cities. I had issues in the first battle but after I learned the mechanics and leveled up some, I beat the hell out of all of them, pretty much the first time. I like robbing them blind and stealing everything they have after they get knocked unconscious. I finished up all of those sets of battles and now I'm going through. I've done most of the bandit camps. I did all the ones in the first city and most of the ones in the second area that he sends you to. I still got a few more left. I got hung up on one of the battles there because there were too many enemies so I decided to revisit that again later. I got a lot of the side content finished. I'm at a point now where I'm about ready to just finish up the game and move on to the second one because I've been doing so much in it but I've still got a ways to go. I'm about 150 hours into it so far. I got really into it this weekend. I actually put a solid 20 hours into it this weekend because I was playing a lot. I'm going to finish up this quest with the robbing and see where that goes. I think I got most of the hunting stuff done but at this point I have to hunt three different types of meat and then all three different types have to be preserved. I just don't know. I feel like messing with that right now, just because getting one or two types of meat's not a problem. When you have to hunt all three in one quest, it can be a pain. I might mess with that a little bit later. This playthrough I'm not necessarily shooting for platinum anyway so I'm not really trying to get 100% of everything. I'm just trying to get the broad experience across the board before I move on to the second one. Normally if I'm going to perfect the game, if I'm ever going to get all the trophies or all the gamer score or all the achievements, it's not going to be on my first playthrough. Most of the time it'll be something that I'll revisit in the coming weeks and months. I used to be a perfectionist and it took too much time per game so it's kind of like the habit that I fell into over time. So far I'm loving it, just continuing to level up.
