BOOM-BOOM Boom-Boom rejoins the Angels in #3 after Ariel retrieves her from X-Factor's headquarters. She already has history with this company. Her arrival is a return within the story, and belongs separately from Sunspot's first invitation to Beat Street. Her explosive time bombs suit a household where irritation can become a physical hazard very quickly. In #4, an argument with Gomi escalates until Siryn has to intervene around a live explosive. The scene turns the everyday problem of incompatible housemates into a superhero emergency. Tabitha also becomes interested in Madrox, adding another source of friction to the group. Everyone has a different reason to want somebody else's attention, and nobody has much privacy in which to work that out. Her presence keeps the series connected to the young people around X-Factor while giving her a different social setting. Here the immediate questions include food, attraction, arguments and who will stop a bad idea before somebody gets hurt. Issue anchors: #3–4.
