WIZ KID: TAKESHI MATSUYA Takeshi, usually called Taki, enters the story in X-Terminators #1. He's a wheelchair user with a talent for transforming technology, and that ability becomes extremely important to the crisis. N'astirh wants machinery that can help carry out spells faster. Taki is forced into helping under threats against the other children, and he tries to get protections for the kidnapped babies while looking for a way out. That puts him in a horrible position. He can understand and build something the villain needs, but other people's lives are being used to make him do it. The finale gives him a role in disrupting that same machinery. Artie, Leech, the older X-Terminators and the New Mutants all contribute around him. The result depends on people working together under pressure. That's why this thread includes the younger three alongside the teenagers. Taki's place in Inferno is a major part of the story, and the four-issue miniseries gives him far more to do than simply be someone the older heroes have to rescue. That finishes this X-Terminators snapshot.
