ANGEL: WARREN HELPED MAKE THIS REUNION POSSIBLE
Warren Worthington is still Angel at the beginning of X-Factor: feathered wings, flight, and the original team's long history behind him.
His money matters here too. Putting together an organization takes more than choosing a name and getting costumes. Warren's resources help make X-Factor possible, and his old friend Cameron Hodge becomes involved in running its public image.
That gives Warren a stake in the whole arrangement beyond being one of the people who goes out on missions. The way the organization presents itself reflects on something he's helped build and finance.
It also puts a lot of trust in the people around him. Anyone who has read further knows how much that becomes part of his story, but I want to keep this entry on the launch version before covering his later transformation separately.
This is Warren at the point when the original five are trying to turn a reunion into an actual operation. Angel's place in that setup includes the practical business side as well as what he does in the air.
