5/10 · 49. Book of Jasher, Hebrew tradition This Book of Jasher comes from the medieval Hebrew Sefer ha-Yashar tradition, whose exact date remains debated. It expands biblical narratives with additional stories about the patriarchs, Moses and Israel’s early history. The 1840 English edition is available on Spirit Nation. The identity matters here: this is a later Jewish narrative work, separate from both the lost biblical Book of Jashar and Jacob Ilive’s English work. https://t.co/rUWS47qZpJ
