4/10 · 48. Ethiopic Didascalia The Ethiopic Didascalia belongs to Ethiopia’s Christian church-order tradition. Probably translated from Arabic by the fourteenth century, it draws on much older material associated with the Apostolic Constitutions. Its chapters address church leadership, worship, conduct and care for others. Spirit Nation includes J. M. Harden’s 1920 English translation of all 43 chapters, keeping this Ethiopian textual tradition distinct from the Syriac Didascalia. https://t.co/bTuBxebmEF
