10/11 • Acts of Paul

10/11 • Acts of Paul Paul's preaching, a remarkable lion encounter, correspondence with Corinth, and his martyrdom survive in this second-century Christian narrative tradition. Spirit Nation has M. R. James's 1924 collection of surviving episodes and fragments, including his version of Paul and Thecla. This gives the broader setting for the standalone Thecla edition highlighted earlier. The gaps and uncertain passages remain visible, so readers can follow both the stories and the limits of what has come down to us. https://t.co/WcbCPcYvkw
