I just got a little further into the main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It's merged Jothed and it's got a nice freaky weird atmosphere (I don't want to use the word "vibe") with the plague going on and with the city itself kind of quiet. Most of the houses you go into have people sick and dying. There are horses and animal bodies all over the place.
I'm just now getting to this point in the main story and I'm kind of fiddling around with the next couple of quests. So far they did a good job on the city. I keep seeing the reconciliation crosses or the conciliation crosses. I'm starting to realize that every time you see one somebody did something horrible and they created those crosses as a way to repent. Given their situation I know that most of the crosses have names on them and some of them have multiple names. I bet if you spent some time following up with some of them, you'd be able to find out what terms there are.
Another thing I've noticed about this game, which I found pretty interesting, is that if you get one of the skills for lock picking, once you get a little higher there's one that lets you literally pick locks instantly. You start leveling up faster when you get to a higher level but that's kind of nice. I like how that flows together.
