6/11 · Testament of Moses In the Testament of Moses, an aging Moses entrusts Joshua with a vision of Israel’s future: failed leaders, persecution, endurance, and eventual divine intervention. The surviving Jewish work is commonly dated to the early first century CE, possibly incorporating older material. It reaches us incompletely, ending mid-sentence.
