2/11 · Jubilees Jubilees retells Genesis and the opening of Exodus through a carefully ordered calendar of weeks of years. Composed in Hebrew in the second century BCE, it gives familiar stories new details while placing Sabbath, festivals, family, and covenant at the center. Even the calendar becomes part of its argument about faithful living. Charles’s 1913 translation is now on Spirit Nation, with all fifty chapters, the prologue, and the closing colophon. https://t.co/jQqbB8gxWc
