9/11 · Testament of Job The Testament of Job retells Job’s suffering as a farewell account to his children. Usually placed around the first century BCE or CE, this Jewish work gives his wife and daughters much more room in the story. Its closing scenes are especially memorable: the daughters receive a spiritual inheritance and sing in heavenly languages. Kohler’s 1897 translation is now on Spirit Nation, including the hymns and the account of Job’s death. https://t.co/i2nKRJSnMz
