All right here's what I did in the race. I took Zora's horse and parked it right where the quest starts. It'll say, "Wait for Sir Divish," and then I get off of that and switch to my horse, which is a hell of a lot faster. Then the quest started and I ran. I did do a couple of shortcuts but if you're on a really really good horse, you'll be a hell of a lot faster than all of them anyway by far. Between shortcuts and that it's a pretty easy win. When you get back to the starting location, you hop off your horse, get back on the other one, and then just trot over to the starting area. It'll end the quest and it worked well.
