I've been working on a lot of open source projects over the last eight months. Some are bigger projects, and some are small tools built to do a very specific job. I've now finished the work I set out to do on twelve of them and marked them Gold on Logan Pendragon Forge.
Gold means I've gone through the project, checked it against what it's supposed to do, and finished the meaningful work within that scope. The final review is clean. These twelve have no known bugs or open issues, no outstanding pull requests, and no meaningful features left unfinished within their intended scope.
For a small tool, that can be enough. A tool that cleans a link or repairs a numbered list doesn't need to keep growing just to stay useful.
I'll still maintain these projects. If someone finds a bug or a security problem, I want to know about it. Contributions and good new ideas are welcome too. Gold is how I'm marking work that's finished and ready to use, with maintenance continuing as needed.
I'm moving on to other projects, but I also want to give each of these its own post so you can see what it does and whether it's something you could use. All twelve are open source, and you can find them on Forge or go straight to their repositories.
