There is still a ways to go on Dots from OpenAI. It still has a long ways to go before it has the usability that I'm hoping for but I will say, right now, it's a thousand times better than it was. It was almost unusable at launch and then after about two weeks of updates it got a little better.
Now it can handle full stuff for me especially when I set up an empty GitHub account called Codex Environment. I started running it through that so now it can do almost anything I can do on my laptop but on the remote web without my laptop turned on. Plus I think they added the ability for multiple devices too now.
I've had it doing a shitload of work for me over the last few days alongside me doing client work and it's been amazing. There are some situations where it can better manage and juggle more tasks at once but I have no doubt we're on the right track. I believe another one or two big series of updates to it like they've been doing and it'll be perfect. Everything from that point on will be icing on the cake.
