Just a few tips and tricks on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Things that I didn't know at first and I'm just now finding out.
I don't know if it happens on the earlier levels but at some point, maybe always, if you set your dog to hunt, it's in the status of hunting so you can run through the woods and harvest. Right now I need to build a donut because I'm making Savior's Schnaps. While I'm going through the woods, I got him passively hunting and he just keeps going because I needed 100 game for Johanka and 40 other game for something else. I thought at first I had to manually hunt all that but he goes out and grabs rabbits passively while I'm doing this. Every rabbit he brings back will have like 20 meat. Basically he goes out and hunts. It sets it up to where it looks like he goes out and hunts a bunch of them every time he brings you one. You'll get like 20 or 30 each time and it's real quick to get game or make stuff for cooking.
That's one thing. The second thing is I noticed that if you go to the miller that you first came from, that you first started with, and look on the lower level of the house when you go inside, there's a chest in between the two beds. That's your chest and that chest shares inventory with the chest in every other miller's house.
On top of that if you go to an inn and you buy one night, if you end up buying multiple nights instead, then it unlocks that inn permanently. In every inn in the game, the chest in the room where you sleep is shared. You go to any innkeeper in the game, you buy a room for multiple nights, and it'll automatically permanently unlock a chest in the same room that you sleep in. That is a shared chest.
All the miller's chests and all of the innkeeper chests are considered your personal storage and they're all connected. This means if you go and put stuff in one of them, you can access it in any of them. What I do is I'll put a savior snap in one of them because I'm making a bunch of them. I put one savior snap in the chest that I know is mine. That way from now on I can see which ones are actually connected and I don't accidentally pick the wrong chest or lose anything. It's really useful. There are other tips that I might drop later.
