I've been writing a lot and getting caught up on my writing because I didn't write for a little while. I finished the two poetry books I was working on. I don't normally do poetry so I have to be in a certain mood. A lot of times I'm writing fiction, science fiction and fantasy novels, short stories, stuff like that. I finished Whispers of the Spirit and I finished Whispers of Oblivion Part Two. They're not edited yet but the initial rough drafts are done so I'll put them on the shelf for a while and revisit them later before publishing. I'll do another round of edits at some point first. There's another one that I've had in my head called "Whispers of the Familiar." I've got some ideas on a few of the poems but I'm still trying to debate what direction I want to take this in because this one may be a little bit more personal. I'm trying to write them now while I'm in the mood for poetry but I may have to put that one off until a different mood hits. I don't want to force it. I'm going to try today and tomorrow to see if I can get some of those written. If I can get in the mood for it, I'd like to get all three done for the poems because I'm going to shift back to working on my novels and short stories after that and then revisit them later. Again I have to be in a certain mood to write poems and when I do, I can do pretty well on it, at least what I think is good. I'm not a poet specifically so it takes a lot of concentration and mental focus to be able to write the poetry. It's something I only revisit every once in a while when I'm in the mood.
