AI has been around for a while now. it has touched every industry and every profession in some way or another. Some people love it, some people hate it. Some people use it, some people try to avoid it like the plague. I tend to use it selectively on various things, but there are some some things I won't use it for. For example. I am an author. I do a lot of creative writing, I do all that myself. I'll always, until the day I do, do all my own writing because it's one of my biggest passions in life. Novels, short stories, everything. The only exception is sometimes when its an informational book I may use AI to compile some of the facts/information to make it a lot faster. Besides those scenarios, I always do ALL my own creative writing. However, I am horrible graphically. I am not a designer. So normally when I publish one of my books on Amazon the covers are all over the place. Sometimes they are AI generated cover images, sometimes they are random images chosen from Amazon's own cover library, other times they are just random stupid designs. I've never taken them seriously or put a lot of work into the covers, again because I am not a designer. When it comes to my Entrepeuneral endeavors on https://t.co/8ZQnfcHW9y I tend to use AI to help me with some of the programming, menial repetitive tasks, and a lot of graphical support when I am creating games. When it comes to graphical stuff in the games I am creating, and the sites I am building, what i use depends on the situation, especially for 3d models. Sometimes I use Meshy or trippy, other times I create what I can inside Blender and/or with Higgsfield, other times I'll buy 3d models or hire someone if there's something specific I want. But it depends. As an author I recently decided when it comes to my NOVELS and BOOKS (Short stories as well, and other books) I wanted to take my book covers more seriously. So recently I hired a designer. Since I don't do design. I have a designer going through and hand crafting book cover logos for every single one of the 69+ books I have published on Amazon KDP. I am going to go through one at a time (EBook, Paperback and Hardcover) and in waves I am going to replace every single cover with something custom created by hand by an actual designer and update all my covers across the board, going forward on new published books I will be publishing MOST of them at first with a stock placeholder cover (going forward) just long enough for my designer to do a custom one not long after so I can continue posting without having to slow down while I wait for my designer to create them. Looking forward to seeing how all these turn out in the coming weeks and months as I bring all this together.
