I find it interesting how Arcade was never able to get a kill in Murder World until around 2011-2012. It was like he was the laughing stock of the Marvel universe, how many times he tried to kill certain heroes, some of them more than once. Failed to kill: Wolverine (4+), Nightcrawler (3+), Spider-Man (3+), Captain Britain (2+), Colossus (2+), Kitty Pryde (2+), Black Cat (2+), Cyclops, Storm, Banshee, Gambit, Iceman, Angel, Dazzler, Rachel Summers, Meggan, Northstar, Puck, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Thing, Hercules, Hellcat, Shatterstar, Adam-X, Phil Urich (1+ each). Deaths in Arcade's Murderworld beginning in 2012–13: Red Raven, Kid Briton, Juston Seyfert, Nara, Apex. Mettle was originally believed to have been Arcade's first direct superhero kill, but Marvel later revealed that he survived. That's not even an exhaustive list of ones that he tried to kill and fell miserably at, some of them multiple times. Up until 2012 he failed to kill a single superhero. He just looked like an idiot. Most of them he tried to capture multiple times, especially X-Men and the older X-Men, and then he ended up becoming a little bit more formidable after 2012 when he started finally getting some kills. His first officially confirmed kill ended up not actually being killed. After all it got retconned later on but there were still quite a few that died in the 2012 event. I don't know. He's just almost a useless super villain up until a certain point.
