Assassin’s Creed is one of those franchises that I’ve been playing for so long that it almost feels like a part of my gaming identity. Every game brings something different to the table, whether it’s historical settings, different combat systems, or a unique protagonist, but they all have that same Assassin’s Creed DNA—the parkour, the assassinations, the hidden blade, the Templar conflict.
My favorite thing about this series is the way it weaves history into the narrative. Running through Renaissance Italy with Ezio, fighting alongside revolutionaries in Assassin’s Creed III, exploring Egypt in Origins—it makes every game feel unique and immersive.
Here’s the list of Assassin’s Creed games I’ve beaten:
- Assassin’s Creed
- Assassin’s Creed II
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
- Assassin’s Creed III
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue
- Assassin’s Creed Unity
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
I still need to finish the DLC for Valhalla, and I haven’t played Mirage yet, but it’s on my list. And of course, there’s a new one coming out that I’ll be all over when it drops.
If I had to pick favorites, Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, and Syndicate are at the top for me. Syndicate had that cool brother/sister dynamic, and Origins really nailed the shift to an RPG style. But no matter how many changes they make, Assassin’s Creed is a series I’ll always come back to.
I still have to finish up some stuff in Valhalla, which I have one more DLC left. After that, I need to buy and play Mirage (which has no DLC). I think by the time I get to that point, it’ll be time for Shadows to come out, I’m looking for that as well.
